MAR ANDES

RESERVA

SAUVIGNON BLANC

  • Vineyard Notes:
The grapes for this wine come from Maule Valley from vineyards located in the Andean foothills. The soils are sandy clay-loam of alluvial origin with a presence of gravel. The proximity to the mountains generates a microclimate that enables the production of very fresh and highly aromatic grapes.
  • Vinification:
Prior to fermentation, the grapes are pressed and the juice is decanted at a low temperature to obtain a very clean must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts at temperature controlled between 10° – 12° C to develop its varietal character with citrusy and fruity notes. The wine is held on its fine lees until bottling to preserve its freshness and increase creaminess and volume on the palate.
  • Tasting Notes:
Brilliant light greenish-yellow. The nose shows citrus notes and fruits such as green apples, white-fleshed peaches and pears combined with white flowers and a delicate herbal touch. This is a fresh and fruity wine with intense acidity and a pleasant finish.
  • Serving Suggestions:

Ideal as an aperitif or with green salads and light fish.
